Fragment: A New Chapter in Rental Housing Now Launched

Fragment is the result of the collaboration between the Trigema investment group, architects David Wittassek and Jiří Řezák from the prestigious Qarta studio, and artist David Černý. Behind the building’s facade made up of dynamically pixelated blocks, there are now 140 apartments for rent that have been fully furnished with designer pieces and elements from floor to ceiling. “Fragment has the ambition to rewrite the chapter on rental housing in the Czech Republic. With its blend of art and design both inside and out, its added services, and superior standards, it goes well above and beyond “ordinary” residential housing,” says Marcel Soural, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Trigema Group.

Future tenants of Fragment will surely appreciate availing themselves of the most modern facilities that guarantee maximum comfort. Each unit’s equipment includes heating and cooling through active ceilings, air-conditioning with heat recovery, filtration, and humidity and air supply temperature treatment, and a Loxone Smart Home system that allows them to adjust the temperature to their liking as well as the apartment’s ventilation, lighting, intercom, and security. Convenience and carefree living is also ensured by a wide range of services readily available to Fragment’s residents.

The building itself is not only an extraordinary architectural landmark, but has also made use of the most modern construction techniques and solutions. These include, for example, ground-to-water heat pumps with a system of 30 geothermal boreholes 180 m deep, well and groundwater for operational consumption, and green roofs covered with vegetation.

Final approval is planned in november of 2022.
