This picturesque country house from the 18th century, sensitively reconstructed in cooperation with heritage conservation experts, stands in a nice village with an excellent infrastructure and good transport links. A peaceful place near Sedlčany or the Slapy and Kamýk reservoirs. The house is suitable for both permament living and recreation.

The ground floor consists of a corner sitting area connected to the kitchen, a bathroom, a hallway (former black kitchen) with a staircase leading to the attic, 2 walk-through bedrooms, a separate toilet, and 2 entrance halls (a second staircase leads to the attic from the back). On the upper level are 2 separate bedrooms and a shared bathroom.

The date on the gable of the house indicates the year 1788; according to preserved sources, it is even 30-40 years older. The building was completely renovated a few years ago. From the outside, there is a mansard roof and unique stucco moldings around the windows, while the interior features original beams, a faithful replica of the historic staircase, and period furniture. The windows in the visible part of the house are casement, and in the back part Euro-windows. The building is connected to the water supply and sewerage system; electric underfloor heating on the ground floor, direct heaters and wood-burning stoves ensuring quick heat distribution. The building is well-maintained from the outside and inside against moisture with the help of ventilation channels, exterior drainage, and lime plasters. In the spacious garden with fully-grown conifers, there is a garage with heated storage, a pergola, an entrance to the cellar, and a heated swimming pool; the plot is surrounded by a hedge ensuring perfect privacy.

The house is part of the village of Vysoký Chlumec, known for its 14th-century castle and open-air museum of rural architecture. In the village with a friendly neighborhood atmosphere, there is a kindergarten and small elementary school, a grocery and household goods store, a sports field with tennis courts, a restaurant, and a traditional pub. Buses provide connections with nearby Sedlčany, and the drive by car to Prague takes about one hour; the journey will be even quicker after the completion of the D3 highway. The Moninec and Kvasejovice ski areas are nearby. The surrounding area offers a number of hiking routes leading through the beautiful, undisturbed landscape of the central Povltava region on the border of the Central and South Bohemia.
