This exceptional historical family house with a strong historical atmosphere and preserved original craftsmanship elements stands on a large plot of land near the Lusatian Mountains, in the picturesque village of Doubice, which can be described as the gateway to the Bohemian Switzerland National Park. The building without monument protection requires complete reconstruction.
The house with a usable area of approx. 300 m2 was built in 1905. Despite its state of disrepair, the house retains impressive original craftsmanship elements that could serve for decades after a sensitive renovation: a staircase with carved railings, trusses, interior doors including handles, handles from the original windows, and ornamental cement paving.
The building has a partial basement, which has stone masonry and vaults, the walls of the upper floors are wooden, the ceilings are beamed and reeded, the original roofing was slate, just like on the decorated gables. There is a barn, a domestic waterworks, and a cesspool on the extensive property.
A place that has become a favorite of many important personalities, it is located in the middle of beautiful nature untouched by any mining or industry. The village is decorated with numerous folk buildings, there are 5 restaurants and regular cultural or sports events are held here. A hiking and bike trail that leads to the forests of Bohemian Switzerland and the Lusatian Mountains passes through the village. Doubice is about 100 km from Prague.
Usable area approx. 300 m2, built-up area of the house 892 m2, plot 4,479 m2.
